Okay, I have seen pizza grilled cheese before but lets redo the concept just a tad to help those mamas trying to lose that extra bit of baby weight! I am ALWAYS hungry but after having my first child 4 months ago I am looking for ways to curb my appetite without crushing my weight loss dreams.
Heres what you'll need
*Turkey pepperonis (substantially less fat and calories with the same great taste) I use 4
* Shredded Mozzarella (go for the low fat option!) 1/4 cup
* Sliced onion (as much as you want)
* 2 slices of white or wheat bread (its up to you)
* A few tablespoons of pasta or marinara for dipping
*spray Butter
*salt and pepper to taste
Alright I would LOVE to have a Panini press but I just don't yet =) so why
not use my George Forman???
Assemble your sandwich with all of your toppings salt and pepper the tops of your bread and give it a couple squirts of spray butter to keep it from sticking. Put on the George Forman for literally two minutes and walah! dip in the pasta sauce or marinara! Your kids will LOVE this and its so easy.
* Want to add some more veggies?? No problem! Try adding some spinach leaves! It is delicious!!
